5 Things to Analyze When #45 Is Delivering A Speech
by Michael Canty

When a President delivers a speech to the nation, supporters and detractors alike listen to hear the truth, his/her vision and how we will proceed as a nation.
Unfortunately after 14,000 near and half truths in addition to outright lies, this President has lost the moral credibility required to convince the public the "what’s next" is in the nation’s interest. They also take other factors into consideration. This article examines 5 of them.
Note: Teleprompter #45 is different from Press Gaggle #45 and Twitter #45. These observations apply to Teleprompter #45 only.

1. Forced By Circumstances
#45 always looks as if he is being held hostage-because he is. If he had a choice he would never speak to anyone other than his supporters. Notice his posture is stiff signifying resistance in the moment. He has also set up an antagonistic relationship with the press and he knows everything he says he and his staff will have to provide deeper and detailed explanations.

2. They're Not His Words
Speechwriters make a decent salary offering explanations that shape the way people think. #45 repeats certain words in his speeches as if is the first time he has heard them because it is! Unlike President Obama, he does not take time to write his own speeches. Nor does he review the speeches written for him. That's why you are guaranteed to hear him mispronounce words. In his speech on Iran he said, "toleride" instead of "tolerated". Listen for it.

3. Exaggerations
Amazing, fantastic, "the most", "the highest" are often used (incorrectly) to emphasize what he wants you to think is the impact of his actions. Since the 2012 White House Correspondent's Dinner when President Obama reduced him to a running joke, he has made every effort to make the world think he is the greatest of all rulers.....uh Presidents...in addition to putting an asterisk by the 8-year Obama presidency. In most cases, when he uses these extreme descriptors, no matter what he says, it simply isn't true. Remember how he described the Ukraine call as, "Perfect" repeatedly and in writing? Or his Inaugural speech crowd size? Shaun Spicer got most of the blame but his descriptions of the crowd were just as inaccurate and extreme. He knows some people will take the exaggeration and run with it.

4. Breathing
People experienced in analyzing signs of truth telling and body language will tell you #45's breathing is abnormal. It is the clearest sign of dishonesty when he gives speeches. You can hear him breathing through his nose in the middle of a phrase. It's weird and creepy. He also doesn't have the bravado that he displays at his racist.....oh uuuh...political rallies. I am always thinking he sounds as if he is not healthy.....Listen for it.

5. Adlibs
#45's adlibs are like his Twitter feed- They display his actual ideas, beliefs and feelings. When he is riffing, he is at his most truthful.

In conclusion, future scholars will create case studies used in a variety of curriculums analyzing how to evaluate truth based on his "speechifying". He will definitely be famous on some level......
